Your wedding day is the celebration of a beautiful love story. Let's capture it together.

Through digitally-recorded customized interviews with you and your fiance, the story of your relationship - from "then" until "now" - comes to life in a heartwarming, unique way. We'll talk about how you met, when you knew that he was "the one," and key details of your engagement and wedding planning. 

Preserved on archival DVDs, complete with music and a display of special images taken on your interview day, Your Wedding Story will be a family keepsake that will warm your heart and refresh your mind through the years (and anniversaries) that lie ahead.

The Process

Your Wedding Story project begins with a questionnaire completed by you, your fiance, and any other family or friends who will be participating in the interviews. Based upon the information gathered through these questionnaires, I will create customized interview questions designed to help you recount your unique love story. 

Days before your wedding, I will interview you and your fiance separately and then as a couple to piece together the story of your relationship - from your first date and eventual engagement to finding the perfect wedding dress and band. There is sure to be laughter and perhaps a few tears as you revisit the special moments that have paved the way to this once-in-a-lifetime event.

One of Vermont's finest wedding photographers, Larry Asam, will capture our interview photographically, with photos taken during and after the interview.

Your interviews will be digitally recorded and then edited for ease-of-listening and the incorporation of musical transitions and photographic images. 

The Result 

Recording "Your Wedding Story" is such a fun process for couples, giving you an opportunity to celebrate the journey you've taken to arrive at this special day. In the end, you will be presented with a collection of heartfelt stories and messages captured in audio and preserved (if so desired) with beautiful photography on an archival DVD. 

Wedding stories are typically 20-25 minutes in length, but 5-minute mini-versions may be shared with friends and family in a variety of ways ---posted on your Wedding Website, shared through Facebook, or incorporated into the wedding festivities.

Product Offerings

Audio Version:
Interviews with the bride and groom are edited to become a seamless stream of engaging stories and messages, enhanced with beautiful musical transitions and preserved on an archival CD presented in a custom-designed box --- a keepsake to be enjoyed for years to come.

Audiovisual Version I: 
Your Wedding Story becomes an audiovisual experience when combined with touching photography --- photos taken both during and after the interview. I work with one of Vermont's most experienced and talented wedding photographers, Larry Asam, to capture the emotions behind the memories.  

Audiovisual Version II, "Friends & Family":
Additional participants (parents, family members, and friends) may be incorporated into the interview process, giving those special people in your life an opportunity to share key memories and well-wishes.
